(Senior) Service Owner for IT Infrastructure and Network (m/f/d)

Within IT, you are fully responsible for providing selected critical IT services with a focus on IT infrastructure – from hardware to networks to virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V or Nutanix. You accompany the IT service portfolio over the entire life cycle and ensure optimal value for your customers. Together with administrators, architects (w/m/d) and other stakeholders, you control the provision of services, take responsibility for operating operations and drive forward the continuous development of infrastructure services. Your tasks include budget and resource planning, contract design, release management and ensuring a stable operation; also actively participate in the administration and bring your technical expertise. You design IT operating processes according to ITIL with compliance and IT security requirements ISO 27001) and implement the further development of your IT service portfolio using modern project management methods.

You have completed your studies of (economic) informatics or business management/BWL with the focus on IT; Alternatively, you will bring IT commercial training and professional experience (8+ years) in the IT service management in the KRITIS area. You have a strong expertise in IT service management; Certifications in DevOps, ITIL 4 (or ITIL 5), IT security or as Scrum Product Owner underpin your profile. In the administration of hardware components, network architectures as well as virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V or Nutanix you are versed. In addition, you have experience in monitoring servers and storage systems, knowing firewalls, load balancers and backup solutions and are familiar with hybrid infrastructure models. Your analytical skills as well as your independent, solution-oriented and communicative personality characterise you, as well as your knowledge of German and fluent English in word and writing.
