In our Group Research & Development (RD), we shape the mobility of tomorrow. New distributed drive concepts require central control units that ensure the optimal interaction of all components. Our Team E/E platform technologies in the Drive-Systems software base layer area develops the software platform for the central powertrain control unit. Our tasks range from the development of software architecture to the implementation and integration of the final overall software. Performant tools, analysis mechanisms and automation processes are an integral part of our daily work. Through your work on our internal toolchain, you are directly contributing to making our development processes faster, more precise and more efficient — an important component for the software of the next generation of vehicles. As a working student*in, you help us develop this internal development and analysis environment. Depending on your needs, you work in various topics that are crucial for our everyday development. Our topics:

1. Software development (C# / OOP) Development and adaptation of internal software solutions Implementation of new features and optimization of existing functionalities Application of object-oriented programming and software engineering principles
2. Interfaces & Integration Development and integration of APIs (e.g. GraphQL) Connection to existing toolchain and systems Integration into existing development processes
3. Data & exchange formats (optional if you want 3) Implementation of import/export mechanisms (e.g. ARXML) Processing and transformation of structured data Handling data models and exchange formats Your tasks Development of an internal architecture tool (C#-based) Development of new features and optimization of existing functionalities Structure and extension of APIs (e.g. GraphQL) Implementation of import/export mechanisms (including ARXML) Support in integration into our toolchain Working with software engineering practices (Testing, Branching, Code Reviews) The activity can begin from August 2026.

Current studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering or comparable Good knowledge of C# and object-oriented programming Understanding basic software engineering practices (Git, Branching, Testing) Interest in software architecture and tool development Ideally first knowledge in the AUTOSAR environment Structured, independent and solution-oriented mode of operation Now you're in demand!
