As a manager, you are actively advancing the digitalization strategy of the University of Bonn, together with its field manager SAP and its team of currently 14 employees, and are shaping the further development of our systems in the field of SAP (S4/HANA), Campus Management (HISinOne), document management, innovative IT projects and information management. As Head of Department, you are responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of IT projects and for the management of the team of developers and application supervisors. You focus on developing future technologies such as the use of AI within the administrative structure. You provide active support in the planning and monitoring of resources (personal, budget) for our IT applications. You control external IT service providers and control their service quality. You implement and extend effective quality management of IT processes and ensure that You are traceable.

You have completed university studies (e.g. in the fields of computer science, business informatics or business), completed vocational training in the IT field or can demonstrate equivalent knowledge and experience. You already have several years of experience in the management of employees You are a communicative leader who understands motivating teams (also interdisciplinary) and spurring them to excellence. You have a high degree of initiative, analytical skills and service orientation Practice-proven skills in IT project management, project management and process management will help you.
