Backend Developer (m/w/d) - PHP / Symfony / Node.js In our backend development, you develop and optimise our backend systems and web services and actively contribute to the further development of our platform. The implementation of features and modules within our backend platform architecture is your own responsibility and develops APIs to connect internal and external systems. With PHP and Symfony as well as optional Node.js, you work in our system landscape and bring your experience in a targeted way. You actively shape the further development of e-commerce and content systems such as Pimcore and the integration of external services and microservices. Authentication and permissions can be used for solutions such as Keycloak and procedures such as OAuth2 or OpenID Connect. This ensures code quality, performance and wartability and continuously develops our backend standards. In cooperation with adjacent teams, you actively engage in technical coordination and architecture topics.

You bring several years of experience in backend web development and have very good knowledge in PHP as well as frameworks such as Symfony. Ideally, you have additional experience with Node.js and can use both technologies safely. You have a well-founded experience in API design and development (e.g. REST or GraphQL) and you know yourself with modern software architectures such as headless, microservices or API-First. Experiences with platforms such as Pimcore or Spryker as well as authentication (e.g. OAuth2, OpenID Connect or Keycloak) are advantageous. You address technical challenges in a structured manner, keep an overview and find pragmatic, reliable solutions. As a team player, you work independently, solution-oriented and communicative and actively contribute to the success of the team.
