Your role You develop electronic assemblies that significantly determine the image quality and functionality of our scanning electron microscopes. In this position, you combine sophisticated signal processing with practical hardware development and accompany your solutions from the first idea to the series. You work closely with development, application and production and take on clear technical responsibility. You specify the requirements and architecture of the digital modules for scanning signal generation and image data digitization.

You develop and test FPGA and microcontroller-based function patterns and prototypes in cooperation with firmware, mechanics and application development.

You design circuits with focus on production-friendly, diagnostic-friendly and robust design.

You plan and perform verification and validation tests in the laboratory and in the microscope system and conduct optimizations.

You define test concepts for series production and create the necessary technical documentation.

You accompany the production transfer, assist in technical clarifications and analyze fault images in the series start.

Your profile You are professional beginners or young professionals with passion for FPGA and embedded microcontroller solutions for real-time applications, but also a small slope to analog electronics

You have successfully completed your studies in electronics, electrical engineering, information technology, information and communication technology or a comparable field of expertise

You are sovereign in handling programmable logic, preferably FPGAs, including circuit-technical integration and configuration.

You already have first experience with commercially available EDA tools for circuit input, modeling and, if necessary, simulation.

You have a basic understanding of analog electronics and motivation to work on and develop in analogue topics of signal acquisition and processing.

You address technical challenges independently, structured and at the same time cooperatively in cooperation with the (project) team; You identify problems early, analyze causes and drive solutions actively.
