Control and monitoring of obsolescence management for defined vehicle and weapon systems is one of your main tasks You are responsible for the strategic development of obsolescence management In addition, you will take care of the promotion and expansion of the company-wide cooperation of the obsolescence managers You take responsibility for the development and implementation of product-related obsolescence strategies Coordinate and control product developments and redesign projects as a production dispatcher The identification and assessment of obsolescence risks for components and systems is also part of your field of activity You work closely with external suppliers as well as internal departments such as development, product and project management as well as purchasing to ensure the security of component supply You monitor the life cycles of electronic, mechanical and software-based components You are responsible for the development and implementation of risk mitigation and mitigation measures (e.g. Second Source, Last Time Buy, Alternative Solutions) The creation and maintenance of obsolescence databases and regular reporting are among your tasks In addition, you are responsible for monitoring and coordinating the interfaces with internal and external stakeholders. You have a successfully completed degree in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification You bring many years of professional experience in the field of obsolescence management, project management, development or in adjacent fields with You are characterized by a pronounced technical understanding and a high technology affinity You have very good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially in Excel Good SAP knowledge as well as safe handling of databases complete your profile You have very good English skills in word and writing and bring travel readiness in Germany and abroad with A military training or corresponding professional experience is advantageous
