Senior Physician Trauma Surgery and Orthopedics (m/f/d)

The Klinikverbund Südwest is one of the largest and most efficient municipal hospital associations in Baden-Württemberg and has more than 1,500 planned beds. Our approximately 6,000 employees: in six locations, nearly 75,000 patients are provided annually: in stationary and more than 300,000 outpatients. We are currently planning future-oriented new clinics and modernizations, including forward-looking intersectoral campus structures, with investments of around 800 million euros in the Böblingen and Calw counties and implement our comprehensive medical concept. The Clinic for Trauma Surgery and Orthopaedics at the Leonberg Hospital is looking for an obstetrician (m/w/d). The clinic treats approx. 2,000 patients:inpatient and 17,000 outpatient. In addition to the conservative and operative treatment of bone fractures and joint injuries, including the pelvic and spinal column, the clinic also offers child accident surgery and assists in the occupation of rescue helicopters and emergency medical trolleys (both stationed at the Leonberg Hospital). The clinic is admitted to the stationary D-Arzt procedure and as a certified local trauma center member in the trauma network Stuttgart. The endoprosthetics of the hip joint and the shoulder has a fixed place in the department. An extensive accident-surgical ambulance, an emergency ambulance as well as the Department of Physiotherapy and Physical Medicine are attached to the clinic and complete the offer. The clinic has the training authorization to the specialist (m/w/d) for Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery of 54 months WBO 2020 as well as the additional name “Specific Accident Surgery” 12 months. The remaining training periods are offered by interested colleagues in the other KVSW houses. .
