Major Claims Manager Special Claims (m/f/d)

Do you want to not only process complex damages, but actively control, structure and create real added value for industrial customers at the decisive moment? You will then play a central role in building and developing our specialized Special Claims range. You always keep an overview in demanding and dynamic damage situations and ensure that all participants receive the necessary orientation. With your distinctive organizational skills, you create structure and transparency, communicate clearly, professionally and target-group-oriented and understand how to communicate complex relationships in a comprehensible way. In addition, you think entrepreneurial, identify potential risks early and derive sound recommendations for action. You want to actively contribute your experience and expertise to develop a specialized field of performance and to sustainably shape the development of a professional large-scale damage management. You accompany and control complex industrial and large-scale damage, in particular in the fields of property, business interruption and liability You take over the central coordination between industrial customers, insurers, experts, sanators, service providers and internal departments You structure damage cases as a project, develop damage schedules, coordinate work packages and keep deadlines, open points and next steps in mind You represent the interests of our customers in damage communication and ensure transparency, orientation and liability in demanding damages You prepare decision-making documents, status reports, management information and damage documentation You support the coordination of rehabilitation, reconstruction and operational interruption issues You actively contribute to developing Special Claims as a specialized service offering and establishing standards for complex large-scale damage management

At least 10 years of professional experience as a damage regulator in the field, ideally focusing on complex industrial property, BU and liability damage completed training in the insurance field; a study of economics, insurance or comparable discipline is advantageous Very good understanding of insurance contractual, technical and harm-regulatory relationships Sovereign occurrence in exchange with customers, insurers, experts, sanators and other stakeholders Experience in the structured coordination of complex situations, ideally with project management reference Impressed communication strength, negotiation skills and the ability to act binding even in time-critical situations High customer orientation, analytical thinking and joy in advancing demanding damages based on solutions Willingness to accompany complex damages on site even over a longer period of time
