Certification Lab Engineer (m/f/d)

As Certification Lab Engineer, you plan, coordinate and accompany dynamic, static as well as continuous and certification tests from preparation to successful execution You ensure the operational readiness of our test equipment, test equipment and test equipment and take care of maintenance, calibrations and procurement of spare parts You develop, build and optimise test setups as well as test platforms and support the conformity testing of test articles You work closely with internal teams, customers, suppliers, OEMs and authorities to meet project targets and certification requirements on time You analyze technical issues, identify potential risks in the certification process and develop suitable solutions You carefully document test results and certification activities and ensure traceability of all relevant requirements You act as a contact person for certification topics, especially in the fields of flameability and static and dynamic tests You are testing current standards, regulations and industry trends, developing best practices and introducing your expertise in projects and meetings You are a firm part of the certification team and support colleagues as needed And other exciting tasks and challenges await you with us

You have a technical degree (economic engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.) or have a comparable qualification - ideally with a focus on aviation You have several years of relevant professional experience in the test, certification or development environment You have knowledge of aviation regulations and certification requirements (e.g. FAA, ETSO) as well as experience with dynamic, static and flameability tests You have a good technical understanding and develop practical solutions for complex issues You have experience in technical documentation and are safe in handling MS Office; Knowledge of AutoCAD or CATIA V5 are advantageous You have strong communication and moderation capabilities and are happy to work in interdisciplinary teams Analytical and precise operation is one of your strengths You have the pleasure of constantly developing and introducing your ideas You have excellent English skills in word and writing You are ready to attend international missions
