As the Data Protection Officer (DSB), we create transparency about data protection risks, strengthen the data protection competence in the organization and continuously develop processes and standards for responsible handling of personal data. Data protection is Teamwork. This is why, together with the ADAC Group, we ensure that data protection is not only documented, but is effectively implemented in everyday business. We help the ADAC digitally.

You plan, conduct and document data protection audits and evaluate the effectiveness and implementation status of necessary remedial measures. As part of your activity, you analyze and evaluate data protection risks and take appropriate measures to minimize identified risks. In addition, you create reports, key figures and management evaluations to support the management and continuous development of data protection management. In case of data breaches, you accompany the assessment and documentation of the incidents and assist in the examination of possible reporting obligations pursuant to GDPR. In addition, you provide technical support in the care and development of the data protection management system (DSMS) as well as the related processes and guidelines. Another focus of your tasks is the design, implementation and continuous optimization of data protection training, awareness measures and awareness campaigns. In close cooperation with the departments and experts from the fields of law, IT, information and IT security and external contacts ensure the data protection-compliant implementation of requirements.

You have a successfully completed study of computer science, business informatics, information security or a comparable qualification. Ideally, you will bring several years of professional experience in data protection, information security, IT governance, compliance or a comparable function. You will also be able to understand technical and organisational security measures and relevant IT processes, as well as knowledge of the GDPR and regulatory requirements. In addition, you are convinced by an analytical way of thinking, a pronounced communication strength and a high consulting competence. Their mode of operation is independent, structured and consistently solution-oriented. Your profile will be rounded off by a secure appearance towards specialist areas, management and external bodies, as well as by good knowledge of German and English in word and writing. Ideally, you have certifications in data protection, such as data protection audit, data protection officer, CIPP/E, CIPT, CIPM or comparable qualifications. In addition, you can provide information security certifications such as ISO 27001, CISSP, CISM or CISA. Experiences in dealing with data protection management systems complete your professional profile. In addition, you will bring knowledge in project management.
