Design Development Engineer (m/w/d)

We are looking for a development engineer construction (m/w/d) at the Adelberg site as soon as possible.

Tasks:

• Construction and development of components and tools, including creation of detailed drawings and piece lists (BOM), focusing on functionality, cost efficiency, feasibility, customer requirements and internal design specifications
• Responsibility for the entire design process: from research and ideas finding to creative concept development to final design
• Support of designers in China by reviewing and correcting mechanical constructions and technical drawings
• Participation in the RFQ process (Request for Quotation) by verifying compliance with customer requirements and internal design specifications
• Conduct and conduct technical coordination with customers, suppliers and internal teams, if necessary
• Development of components according to specifications and ISO standards using CAD software and implementation of tolerance analyses

Your profile:

• Complete Bachelor, Master or equivalent degree in mechanical engineering
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the automotive industry
• Good knowledge of sensor technology, especially in the field of position, speed, pressure and inductive sensors, ideally used in classic or electric drives
• Experience with prototype and product development processes
• Knowledge of the design of plastic components and the properties and areas of application of plastic materials
• Good knowledge of DFMEA, GD&T, tolerance design and tolerance chain analysis
• Excellent CAD knowledge, ideally with CATIA
• High level of detail and organizational skills
• You speak fluent English, further language skills are beneficial
