In our central function IT of Zeppelin GmbH at the Garching location near Munich or Berlin, we are looking for a “Lead Engineer/Developer (m/w/d)” for our Business Solutions division at the closest possible time. You want to:

As ''Lead Engineer/Developer Business Solutions (m/w/d)' you take over the entire technical responsibility, design and software architecture of our Business Solutions solutions.

You are responsible for the technical leadership in projects, work with more external international service providers and tax them.

Furthermore, the support and mentoring of developers and tax decision-making processes in terms of technology selection and software architecture.

You contribute to strategic decisions at the technical level and are responsible for the continuous improvement of the team's development processes.

You also take care of efficient IT tools and techniques and evaluate and recommend suitable technologies and frameworks.

In addition, you are the main partner for the Product Owner to understand the requirements for the software and thus ensure the implementation of sophisticated software functions and components.

The solution of complex technical challenges together with the optimization, performance, bug fixation and troubleshooting as well as testing and documentation are also part of your task.

We wish:

Complete studies or comparable training with professional experience in the field of business informatics, computer science or engineering or a multi-year professional experience in relevant fields

Very good mastery of programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, Kotlin etc.

Multiannual experience in front-end development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks such as Vue, React or Angular

Multiannual experience in backend development with server-side languages such as PHP, Node.js, Python (Django, Flask), Java (Spring), .NET Core etc.

Multiannual practical experience with common frameworks and libraries in software development (e.g., Symfony, .NET, Temporal.io)

Experience with web servers, APIs and RESTful Services, OpenAPI, and Enterprise Integration / APIM Technologies

Knowledge of authentication, caching, load balancing, reverse proxies, logging etc.

Multiannual practical experience with the use of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)

Experience with version control systems such as Git and their use in projects

Practical experience in writing unit tests and knowledge in test frameworks, as well as Tesdriven software development

Confidence with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, practical experience in providing or migrating applications in the cloud

Practical experience with DevOps practices for automation of development and operating processes.

Experience in agile development methods such as XP, Scrum or Kanban

Experience with AI-supported software development and use of AI tools in the development process

Mentoring of younger developers, technical responsibility of software projects

A good expressiveness and open communication, empathy, and moderation skills

Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
