Apply yourself and become part of us. We look forward to seeing you. As an Operations Manager for Trading Integration, you take responsibility for stability, reliability and support operation of the Middleware platform. As a member of the middleware leadership team, your main tasks include:

• Development and implementation of the end-to-end operation strategy for middleware
• Ensuring seamless middleware functionality for business-critical applications
• Determine when operational improvements should be made and who is best suited to
• Monitoring processes for incident, problem and change management to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime
• Definition and implementation of service-level targets to ensure that service reliability meets business expectations

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• You act as the main partner for operations-related discussions and secure the coordination between IT leadership, business partners and support teams
• Regular updates on middleware stability, incident trends and operational improvements
• Promoting a culture of reliability, automation and continuous improvement throughout the company

Monitoring, stability & reliability and operational excellence

• Close cooperation with Site Reliability and Platform Engineers, Delivery teams and support functions to switch to preventive maintenance

• Development and implementation of observability, logging and monitoring solutions for proactive error detection

• Promoting continuous improvements and automation, self-healing capabilities and runbooks to optimize operational efficiency

• Proven experience as Operations Manager, IT Service Manager or SRE Manager in a middleware, integration or trading IT environment of 5 years

• Extensive knowledge of ITIL frameworks, incident management, problem solutions, operational governance and operational excellence

• Experience in implementing observability solutions, logging frameworks and proactive monitoring strategies

• Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and middleware technologies (APIs, Streaming Kafka, MQ, event-controlled architectures)

• Proven ability to manage L2/L3 support teams, external providers and offshore development centres (ODCs)

• Ability to balance operational stability, cost efficiency and scalability of the services in a highly stressed trading environment

• Very good interpersonal and oral/written English skills

• Cooperative behaviour and good moderation skills

• Enthusiasm to control, train and train internal and external personnel
