As a consultant (insurance) mathematics (m/w/d), you analyze the complex risks of the insurance business in the team and make it controllable by the application of mathematical models and machine learning methods. Modelling: Deterministic and stochastic forecasts develop and expand. You use algorithms for data analysis, in particular machine learning and data analytics. Variety: You solve complex questions from the insurance mathematics with your colleagues throughout the entire academic value chain. Innovation: In risk management, pricing and underwriting, you help develop existing modeling approaches to support insurance customers. Know-how: M&A processes, restructuring and re-establishment of financial services companies will be accompanied by your expertise. Communication: You actively shape strategic initiatives and focus topics and represent our company in the market.

Completion in (economic) mathematics, physics or comparable scientific-technical degree course, with doctoral studies and internships in the financial industry Interest in programming and possibly already practical experience in data analysis or machine learning, as well as in the handling of software, e.g. R, SQL, Python, SAS or Java Pleasure of project work with various customers from the financial sector, high level of self-employment, commitment, communicative skills and solution orientation Interest in continuing training for the Aktuar by the Deutsche Aktuarsvereinigung (DAV) or by the International Actuarial Association (IAA) - naturally funded by us readiness to travel and German and English very well in word and writing
