Processing for the Peine Library and Repository Archive (m/f/d)

You are responsible for developing solutions for the construction of a digital end storage archive. In order to implement this, your hands are responsible for interface work between the archives of BGE, IT and specialist departments. You take care of the BGE library. Here you act as a contact person for all questions of literature research, procurement and care. Your tasks include the central procurement (order process to audit) of specialist literature, digitalization technology and the provision of database services for the entire BGE (e.g. specialist portals such as Beck-online, DEAL etc.).

You have completed university studies in information management, library, archives, or comparable training. With the first experience in library technology, you are familiar with the safe handling of modern research, archiving and media technologies. You have first experiences in the professional digitalization of documents for long-term security of documents and data. The handling of MS Office products is familiar to you. You have very good knowledge of German (min. level C1) and good knowledge of English (min. level B2). You are convinced with conscientious, organized and independent working and fun at your work. with communication and team capability as well as a safe and eager appearance. by a high degree of readiness and loadability. by the ability to illustrate complex facts in word and writing.
