We are looking for a Consultant/Advisor (m/w/d) for resources documentation and marking, which helps our customers worldwide to secure and improve the affordability, sustainability and reliability of their high-voltage transmission and distribution infrastructure. You will be part of the Transmission & Distribution Technology Advisory department in Dresden, Germany. The diverse department includes around 100 professionals (with a mix of PhD, MSc and BSc degrees) from various backgrounds and cultures. Together we offer specialized and innovative consulting services for our customers, which are mainly operators of transmission and distribution networks, energy suppliers and industries. You are mainly involved in an ongoing German project for the designation of plants according to IEC 81346, where you will also work with other teams within DNV, which will focus, for example, on substation projects, resource management (asset management) or renewable energies. Participation in other national and international projects is also envisaged.

Your tasks and responsibilities You will take on engineering and/or consulting tasks and assist our customers in the designation of systems according to IEC 81346 You will also take on engineering and/or consulting tasks and advise our customers in relation to transmission and distribution infrastructure (T&D) In addition, you will review specifications and documentation, identify new structures and develop the future designation system. You document the work and the decision-making process, explain and visualize the final result.
