Independent analysis, design and specification of FPGA designs for complex electronic assemblies (processor/controller circuit boards, mixed signal circuit boards, embedded hardware, devices and subsystems) Development, implementation and verification of FPGA logic (RTL design, simulation, timing) Early technical assessment of architecture, circuit documents and interfaces and identification of technical risks Integration of FPGA modules into existing hardware and system environments and support for bring-up and commissioning Technical coordination with hardware, software and system development teams, component managers, suppliers and external partners Selection and specification of suitable development, measurement and testing technology Creation of technical specifications and documentation
Multiannual practical experience in FPGA development for complex electronics Knowledge of hardware description languages (VHDL and/or Verilog) and FPGA toolchains (e.g. Xilinx/AMD Vivado, Intel/Altera Quartus) Experience with processor, mixed signal or embedded modules Flowing German and English skills
