We are looking for a health care and nursing Nursing specialist / a health and nursing professional Nursing specialist for the art heart surgery as VAD coordinator / coordinator.

An extended therapy option for advanced cardiac muscle weaknesses, using mechanical heart support systems, offers the art heart (VAD) ambulance of the clinic for heart and thoracic vascular surgery at UKSH, Campus Lübeck. A heart support system (called "art heart", in the medicine "VAD" engl ventricular assist device) supports the weakened heart chamber in its pumping function. The therapy target is an improved blood circulation throughout the body. The highly specialized team of VAD ambulance accompanies the patients and their relatives through the entire therapy process and is the first point of contact in nursing, medical and interface aspects.

• A completed training as a health and nursing worker or Nurse / Health care and nursing Nurse or Nurse / Nurse or a completed nursing programme (BSc.N.)
• Ideally a successfully completed intensive training and multi-year professional experience in intensive care
• Special sensitivity and understanding and empathy to our patients and their relatives
• Enthusiasm for cross-disciplinary and scientifically based work at one of the most modern university clinics in Europe and a high degree of commitment and motivation
• An independent way of working, empathy, pronounced communication skills and a strong understanding of processes and their organization
