To strengthen our team, we are now looking for a Supplier Development Engineer (m/w/d) that further develops and shapes our software applications

Supplier Development Engineer (m/w/d) (unlimited, 35 hours)

These are your tasks: Technical support and further development of our electronics suppliers and development partners in Germany and abroad Central technical contact for external partners in development and series projects Implementation of technical reviews Tuning and testing of specifications, assemblies, components and technical documentation Support in the industrialization of electronic products up to standard maturity Working with fault analyses, complaints and quality measures (e.g. 8D processes) Close cooperation with development, purchasing, product management, quality assurance and production Participation in the selection, technical evaluation and qualification of electronics producers and development partners Ensuring the technical performance of external partners in development and series projects Support for approval and conformity topics for electronic products taking into account EMC, LVD and, where appropriate, RED guidelines

This is their profile: Complete studies or further education in the field of electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or comparable Multiannual experience in the environment of electronic assemblies or equipment development Knowledge of the development, specification or industrialization of electronic components (e.g. PCBAs, modules, embedded systems) Experience in handling international suppliers or development partners Understanding quality processes, supplier evaluation and change management Basic understanding of relevant standards and guidelines (e.g. EMC, RED, LVD) and their impact on development and series products Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English in word and writing Structured, independent operation and pronounced communication skills High readiness for travel in Germany and abroad
