Deputy Operations Manager (m/f/d)

In the absence of the manager, you guide the workstation professionally, disciplinaryly and responsibly and ensure efficient processes. You actively support the strategic development of the site and take responsibility for costs, revenue, budget planning and KPIs if necessary. You enter our customers in the day-to-day business and act as a central contact person in the case of representation. You plan personnel and resources, guide the team in operational everyday life and take on the disciplinary leadership in the case of representation. You ensure quality, productivity and safety standards and are responsible for them. You analyze processes, identify optimization potentials and implement measures independently. You actively drive projects and drive lean management methods and process improvements. You work closely with adjacent areas and, if necessary, you represent the operating site against internal and external interfaces.

You have a completed commercial training or a study (e.g. BWL, economic engineering, logistics). You bring several years of experience in logistics, contract logistics or in the transport environment. You have leadership experience in dealing with commercial and commercial employees. You have a very good understanding of processes, key figures and ideally lean management methods. You work independently, structured, targeted and service-oriented. You are sure to go with MS Office (especially Excel) and ideally know warehouse/WMS or SAP systems. You appear sovereign, you communicate clearly and you can do well. You have very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English in word and writing.
