Compulsory Intern Crash Test and Pedestrian Protection (f|m|d) Summer Semester 2026

With the ADAC you have a practical partner that offers you such a working environment and allows insights into practice in various areas. You can apply your knowledge directly from your studies and contribute to helping other people. In the daily test operation you accompany the test engineers and support their work. In addition, you are actively involved in the production, assembly and repair of test setups. The preparation of test vehicles and test equipment is also part of your task. When marking the test vehicles with a laser-assisted marking device, you provide valuable support. You help in the technical implementation of impactor tests on vehicle fronts according to the EuroNCAP test protocol and the ECE Directive R127. You are also involved in the setup, control and evaluation of high-speed video cameras. You actively help to carry out vehicle crash, child seat and whiplash tests. Finally, you assist in the planning, supervision and execution of customer-specific orders at global level.

You are a full-time student (m/w/d) of vehicle technology, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, economic/ingenieurs or a comparable degree program. Ideally, you have basic knowledge of vehicle technology/safety, e.g. through technical training. A reliable, responsible and structured way of working is yours. Your strengths include communication and team skills and flexibility. The duration of the compulsory internship is at least 18 weeks. In addition, you have the license class B.
