The Technical Division (TD) is responsible for the planning, construction, operation and maintenance of the core harbour infrastructure with a total of around 600 employees. We offer a wide range of technical engineering expertise and comprehensive technical and project management services.

Our heart beats for the Port of Hamburg, which connects us! You plan and tax repairs, basic repairs and smaller new building projects and take over project-leading tasks. Messages and orders You check, evaluate the scope, carry out measurements and tune the repair requirements with clients. Pre-planning, calculations and work processes you set up independently and coordinate processes as well as the construction supervision. You monitor costs, appointments and quality, resolve orders and keep client informed about the project stand. You can control constructions in terms of contract, quality and appointments and carry out acceptances and technical documentation. You create testable designs and calculations, accompany technical repairs and check documents in exchange with all parties. You will start tender documents, advertise offers and prepare awards. In case of disorders, you will take immediate action on your own during working hours.

You have a degree in electrical engineering or comparable skills and knowledge as well as ideally a master / technician in electrical engineering. You have already gained knowledge of electrical controllers (e.g. Siemens S7, TIA) and electrical, electronic or tracking systems. You know relevant technical regulations, standards and procurement regulations and have experience in the maintenance of construction equipment. With business requirements, calculations and technical systems, you are sure to change. You work structured, responsibly and can clearly present complex technical issues. Organisational ability, enforcement ability and a safe occurrence characterize you. You bring team skills and communication strength and drive themes forward independently. A switching authorization or qualification as CE coordinator is desirable, but not mandatory.
