Product Manager IFF Transponder (m/w/d)

For the area Identification Friend Foe (IFF), we are looking for a(n) at the location Munich / Taufkirchen at the next possible time Product Manager (m/w/d) The range of programs is responsible for the ATC/IFF product line and is responsible for the handling of all ATC/IFF projects, the further development of the product portfolio and the support of the sales in the production of offers.

The product managerin IFF-Transponder is responsible for the equipment required for the installation of the IFF systems on various aircraft as well as ships and land installations (Transponder (LTR), display and control unit (CADU), test equipment (FFM) and Crypto simulators etc.). The product managerin IFF transponder leads the development teams. The product managerin IFF-Transponder is intended to promote civil and military approvals (EASA, AIMS and LufABw) in future products. The product managerin IFF transponder should initiate, plan and manage the development of the next stage of evolution of the IFF transponder (SLT Superleightweight Transponder) and coordinate it in the context of international development programs (e.g. FCAS). In cooperation with project managers (and for future projects with sales) to define the requirements for the transponders etc. Creating and tracking the budget for the necessary development activities. Implementation of risk management. Creation and maintenance of timetables / release plans for development activities in cooperation with the development team. Ensure an HMS-compliant product life cycle. Support of the sales and offer team (Bid Team). Further development of the existing portfolio in close cooperation with the other IFF product managers/project managers, sales/bid and program management. Communication to external stakeholders (for example AIMS, BAAINBw, WTD).

Studies in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, high-frequency engineering or comparable engineering studies Long-standing experience in handling military and civilian customers Project Management Certification (PMI, IPMA or comparable) German and English Team management and project management experience
