Senior Consultant (m/w/d)

You secure the stable and secure IT production facility throughout the Group. As a central point of contact in event and incident management, you take responsibility and enter the single point of contact/control at IT@LVM. You enter and control a variety of platforms and services including Windows, Red Hat Linux, z/OS, System Automation, DB2 and IMS. In case of disturbances, you analyze the causes and effects (root-cause & impact analysis) and initiate targeted measures. You continuously opt for running operation and in case of an emergency, ensure fast system recovery. Shift operation as well as call and stand-by services in the team with currently ten colleagues are also part of your task.

You have a completed training as a specialist in system integration or a completed study in the field of computer science. In addition, you have already gained practical experience in the productive processes of an IT management and ideally brings knowledge in the field of Windows, Red Hat and z/OS as well as their subsystems. Experiences with current monitoring tools such as Grafana and Graylog are beneficial. High readiness for learning and change is one of your strengths as well as your ability to work analytically. You also have a very high self-initiative, communication and team skills. A pronounced service and customer orientation completes your profile.

Salary: You receive a collectively regulated remuneration (compulsory contract for private insurance). In addition, you receive holiday and Christmas money as well as extensive social benefits - including an occupational pension scheme. In addition, a future-proof workplace awaits you.

Homeoffice: Depending on the location and arrangement with your leadership, you can choose between different home office models. At least two days are provided at the LVM campus. In addition to a fully-fledged technical equipment, you will receive a unique home office tray of 800 € gross.

Work-Life-Balance: Our flexible working time regulation with a 38-hour week and 30 holiday days allows you to adjust your working hours in consultation between 7 am and 8 pm. In this case, any overtime that has been completed is of course paid out or can alternatively be compensated for by leisure.
