Senior Consultant (m/w/d) Place of work: Berlin Job: Full-time (part-time is possible in principle), unlimited Job ID: 2025_0416_02 Our branches provide the banks and the trade with sufficient cash. For this purpose, they check and sort incoming cash for authenticity and quality and perform false money prevention training. For individuals, they continue to exchange DM in euro and issue special coins. They also hold accounts for public institutions and banks.

They represent the head of the branch at the technical and personnel management of the branch Berlin. They monitor the safety and efficiency of the workflows and, in this context, monitor the service. You analyse workflows and make continuous improvements, while you agree to work within the branch, with other areas of the Bundesbank as well as external business partners and authorities. They are a specialist in the fields of cash disposition and processing, money laundering prevention and inaccessible payment transactions, as well as work and safety organizational issues. They contribute to the management of resources to achieve the strategic goals set in the branch. In cross-site workgroups, they will present basic topics of branch work and also represent the branch inward and outward.

Bachelor or equivalent degree, preferably with a focus on economics (e.g. management, logistics, human resources, controlling) At least fifteen years of professional experience in a working area relevant to the position (e.g. money and value services, trade, logistics, credit institutions) Embossed leadership competence ideally proves through – at least first – leadership experience Very good knowledge of business relationships (in particular controlling and process management) and a strong understanding of the tasks of a branch of the Bundesbank (in particular the cash cycle) Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking and solution-oriented action Impressed representation, persuasion and decision-making even in challenging situations Very good communication skills in German and good English skills
