As a Technical Expert, you will help drive our goals by: Preparing technical proposals and guarantees to support commercial sales
Developing familiarity with CT product manufacturing, and working operations teams to coordinate and inform technical support for customers
Providing technical input and support to other members of the global technical service team as required
Represent JM at relevant international conferences
Active engagement with sales teams in promoting CT products and services to customers, including provision of technical input during customer visits
Providing input to medium- and long-term account planning activities
Involvement in the development of new products including identification of market opportunities, guiding technical input and engaging feedback from customers to help identify needs that new products could solve
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role: Degree in scientific/technical discipline; Chemistry and Chemical Engineering
Significant experience in the field of heterogeneous catalysis - base metal and/or PGM
Technical background in a diverse range of chemical reactions and catalytic processes, including but not limited to, hydrogenation, dehydrogenation, oxidation, amination etc.
Experience in process development or planning supporting operations in the petrochemicals and renewables industries
A strong technical ability and willingness to develop competencies quickly and on the job
Experience in a technical customer-facing role would be a distinct advantage
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
