About the area: Deutsche Bank Research is responsible for the financial, strategic and economic analysis within the Deutsche Bank Group and covers companies from all major industrial sectors and different investment strategies. We follow the developments, technologies and innovations relevant to the bank on the financial markets, in business and society, assess their opportunities and risks and advise our customers, the bank and a group of different stakeholders. Deutsche Bank Research creates high-quality, independent analyses and actively enriches public discussion on a variety of topics. The Company Research & Sales team is part of the Investment Bank and offers our customers detailed financial analyses and recommendations (“buy”, “sold”, “sold”) on investment investments. You personally advise institutional investors (especially hedge funds and large long only asset managers) around the world to decide which shares and sectors You should invest or how to distribute their investments to different asset classes. You build relationships with companies and industry experts and use them as part of channel checks and due diligence checks. The organization of management roadshows, thematic events and conferences for customers is also part of your activity. Start & duration: July 2026; 12 months

At the beginning of your trainee program you will take part in an orientation event. This is followed by the placement of professional and financial skills. During your first year, you will benefit from a learning program consisting of training and competence training and further enriching your learning curve. In the day-to-day business and special research projects, you develop strategies and new ideas with which we help customers achieve their financial goals. The projects you work on demand your interpretative skills, a good sense of trends and innovation and an independent way of working. However, you benefit from intensive mentoring and structured feedback. From the first day on, you are dealing with real market topics that affect companies. You contribute to our research publications and are involved in the development of investment strategies, tools and models. Your learning curve will be steep and executives and mentors will help you with advice. The specific tasks you work with depend on your role in the team. You learn from the best, develop professionally and personally, creating an ideal basis for later specialization.

A financial or mathematical background is not absolutely necessary, because our trainee program gives you all the technical skills you need to start a successful career with us. You will soon complete your economic or scientific studies or have you successfully completed it recently? To participate in the program, you must meet the following requirements: You should study between 1 January 2025 and 31st July 2026 successfully complete and no longer have open courses You should be ready to start a full-time job from July 2026, taking into account local labour laws and visa regulations You should not bring more than 12 months of full-time work experience (except for practice)
