At the Frankfurt and Düsseldorf locations, our 16-member team ensures a safe and stable production of the IT systems and infrastructure components we are responsible for. You are one of the central contact points for infrastructure and infrastructure-related applications in the host environment and assume both technical and technical responsibility. You support the processes “Availability Management” and “Capacity Management” to ensure safe and efficient production in the host sector. As a technical infrastructure manager, you can look forward to the following tasks: Stable IT operation: You ensure the safe, highly available and regulatoryly compliant production of the responsible host and infrastructure components. Control of services and service providers: As a technical infrastructure manager for the mainframe (z/OS) you control external operating and data center service providers, define services, monitor SLAs and take services professionally. Availability and emergency services: You are responsible for the host's operational capability including emergency concepts, restart procedures and monitoring. Capacity planning: You plan and control the computer capacities, analyze utilisation, response times and throughput and regularly agree with the relevant specialist areas. Governance and Security: You create and maintain operational and security requirements, carry out controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. A completed study with IT reference or a comparable qualification forms the basis for this position. In your previous career you have been able to experience several years in the operation and control of host and/or Collect mainframe infrastructures. You bring very good knowledge to z/OS and move safely in TSO, USS, SMS as well as in the authorization control with RACF. The handling of z/Series hardware (CPU, DASD, TAPE, LPAR) as well as system-related applications is very familiar to you. Cooperation with external business and data center service providers is part of everyday work for you; convince you with your communication strength and your safe occurrence. You have well-founded knowledge of IT service processes (e.g. ITIL), IT security and governance and apply them in practice. Ideally, you already have points of contact with supervisory requirements of the financial industry (e.g. MaRisk, BAIT). Analytical thinking skills, conceptual strength and the ability to drive themes forward independently are what you stand for. Very good knowledge of German (C1) as well as good knowledge of English (B2) enable you to communicate in a professional environment.
