Senior Consultant (m/w/d)

The place of work is in Schwäbisch Hall-Hessental.

These are your tasks:

• You advise our citizens with your expertise on all questions and concerns about citizenship law.
• They examine requests for citizenship for their legality and completeness. They shall make independent decisions on the authorisation or rejection of the applications and shall make appropriate decisions.
• You are responsible for the processing of applications for the issue of a nationality card.
• In special cases, you will examine whether there is a person's statelessness.
• You make decisions on retention, waiver and dismissal from German nationality on the basis of the applicable legal provisions and individual circumstances of the applicants.

Take this with you:

• a completed degree in the up-to-date non-technical administration (e.g. Bachelor of Arts – Public Management) or in a degree course that matches the above-mentioned tasks (e.g. Bachelor of Arts – Public Economy, Bachelor of Laws or 1st State Chambers)
• as an alternative, a comparable qualification, e.g. a completed or ongoing training to the management specialist (Employment examination II)
• Security in the application of general administrative law and discretionary decisions
• intercultural competence and joy in dealing with people
• the ability to keep an overview even under pressure, to set priorities and to act flexibly

You have completed an education as an official in the middle administration and want to continue to qualify? Or are you an administrative specialist or have the first examination done for the payment order, bringing together corresponding three-year professional experience and looking for a new challenge?
