The Controlling Division Standards & Steering Instruments is part of the Group Controlling and deals with the development of Group-wide standards to connect objectives, planning, control and adaptation to an integrated management approach. At this strategic point, you will significantly shape the organisation’s future functioning and make the strategic and operational achievement measurable and comparable. In doing so, you advise our internal customers around the world, train cross-group expert groups and harmonise their business activities and model the Steering Instruments required for this. For this purpose, technical and technical knowledge is required, coupled with innovative ideas. You are an interface to other controlling units and a wide range of disciplines, gain comprehensive insights into the entire group and are part of a dynamic team with great responsibility and thus shape the success of the company.

You support sustainable business development through an integrated control concept: you are responsible for the holistic control concept and design and update the group-wide control standards – from the first idea to the successful go-live. You increase efficiency through a clear framework for processes and responsibilities: You take care of the structuring/defining of key figures, master data, models and processes and make sure that all units in the company are harmonized. You create transparency about corporate performance and achievement: You advise internal stakeholders in control requirements to ensure that the management-relevant individual initiatives match the corporate objectives and strategies. You follow the standardization to ensure a clear and comparable and efficient reporting and are always a proactive, positive and solution-oriented internal consultant. You are promoting a fast response to changes in the market or environment: you identify best practices, respond to changes in the market and suggest optimizations arising from the exchange of existing concepts in the group or the current specialist literature/regulatorics to maximize the value of standards for REWE Group.
