All tasks arising in an experimental animal husbandry under barrier conditions, such as: Feeding, observation and labelling of animals, and keeping (including cage change and preparation) and breeding Removal of biopsy Electronic collection/administration of animals by means of special software Cleaning, disinfection and sterilization work Compilation of stress assessments and the execution and preparation of various experiments and the follow-up of operated animals Intensive interaction with participating scientists Due to the very strict hygiene requirements, which serve to keep animals healthy, careful, clean and responsible work is necessary

Ideally first practical experience in the professional care of mice and rats Vocational experience in genetic safety Very good German knowledge of word and writing and basic knowledge of English Representative organizational talent Knowledge of how to use MS Office applications Ready for weekend and holiday service (m/w/d) are welcome as a thorough introduction to the respective area of responsibility. We ask for an understanding that the private attitude of rodents is not permitted. The job is limited to 2 years in the context of a parental leave.
