For more than 40 years, the GPM has been heavily engaged in the ideal field to sustainably promote project management in society and to enable people from all parts of society to realise their innovative ideas in all areas of life – taking into account sustainability. We support all questions about project management and offer extensive initiatives and offers for individuals, universities, companies, educational institutions, politics and associations. This engagement also includes the promotion of young people or the promotion and equality of women in project management. In cooperation, we strive to establish a sustainable culture of diversity in which all people can constructively interact within the framework of our values. The GPM is connected worldwide via the IPMA® (International Project Management Association). For the management and further development of our GPM Community department, we are now looking for a GPM Community m/w/d full-time (40 h), unlimited. Short profile of the GPM Community department The GPM Community department bundles all activities of the GPM around members, volunteers and association-related events. It is the central unit for the collection, binding, activation and participation of personal, corporate and student members as well as for the professional support of volunteer engagement in regions, specialist groups and the Young Crew. The aim of the department is to make the GPM usable, relevant and effective for members and interested parties – through precise membership services, a strong volunteer culture and lively club formats. The department connects data-driven member management with partizipativer community work and ensures that impulses from the Volunteer Office are systematically integrated into the further development of the association.

You are responsible for the overall strategic responsibility for building, managing and developing the department as well as responsibility for budget and resources You work closely with the Bureau as a member of the Executive Board You are responsible for the implementation of the association strategy in the area of members, volunteers and community Together with the various bodies, you coordinate and act strategically and operationally the volunteers, specialist groups and the Young Crew You have the overall responsibility for corporate events You develop and standardize processes, formats, service levels and tools

Leadership experience in teams or project contexts, ideally in the association, non-profit, event or community environment Detectable successes in member, customer or community management Experience in coordination of different stakeholders and in cooperation with volunteers Funded knowledge in event management (ideally united or community-related), including design, planning, implementation and quality assurance of larger formats High communication and moderation competence Strategic thinking, organizational and process competence Safe handling of CRM and digital control tools Embossed service, solution and relationship orientation Ability to integrate different interests and develop sustainable solutions Entrepreneurial thinking with simultaneous identification with the values and objectives of a non-profit association Ready for nationwide missions
