In the University Administration, Department IV - Building Management and Technology, Department of Building Services, two permanent full-time jobs are considered as

to occupy. The grouping shall be carried out in the event of the fulfilment of the conditions laid down in the collective agreement of the Land of Hesse.

Your tasks:

• supervision and supervision of buildings, including the adjacent external installations of the Philipps-Universität Marburg, as well as the detection and elimination of damage and accident hazards (e.g. implementation of emergency glazing)
• With the help of warehouse and transport works (removals within the university), execution of messengers and barrier services
• Summer and winter cleaning of outdoor facilities directly at the building
• Participation in organisational fire protection (flight and rescue routes)
• Key management and removal of cleaning services
• organisation and supervision of internal and external events including room provision

Your profile:

• relevant, successfully completed training in a craft occupation (probably as a gas, water or electrical installer or as a carpenter's) with multi-year relevant professional experience, especially in the last 3 years
• well-founded artisanal knowledge is also of advantage to other professions which take into account the diverse requirements of large modern teaching, research and administration buildings
• Class B driving licence
• the health and physical fitness for large-scale work (header, scaffolding) as well as for performing physically demanding tasks (transport tasks, relocations and congress preparations)
• You work independently, reliable and service-oriented, you are flexible in changing tasks and in dealing with different groups of people - while you are friendly and confident, you are resilient at work tips and set your team skills
• readiness for flexible working hours also on weekends and in the evening hours as well as for service in readiness
