Control Engineering Engineer – 17/26 (m/f/d)

The Ferdinand-Braun-Institut, Leibniz-Institut für Höchstfrequenztechnik (FBH) is an application-oriented research institution in the fields of high-frequency electronics, photonics and quantum physics. The FBH researches electronic and optical components, modules and systems based on connecting semiconductors. These are key components for innovation in the social fields of demand communication, energy, health and mobility. It has the entire value chain from design to ready-to-supply systems. For the smooth operation of the cleanroom and other laboratory rooms with a total area of almost 4,000 square metres, the FBH provides the “Technical Services”. The 10-person service unit ensures trouble-free operation of the technical infrastructure in the laboratories, including energy, climate and safety technology. As a supplement to our team, we are looking for an engineer*in (m/w/d) for control and control technology at the next time.

Control and control technology for ensuring the basic supply of clean rooms and laboratories (heating, ventilation, sanitation, climate and specific process systems) performing necessary maintenance and small repair work on the measuring devices and actuators necessary for control technology detection, documentation and evaluation of plant parameters for monitoring and securing the technical plant condition and securing existing processes (e.g. process data monitoring for compliance with clean room conditions) and ensuring high plant availability Participation in the planning of conversion and extensions of control components, their integration into the building control system, the installation and commissioning of controls and their components Optimization of systems for reducing energy consumption and, if necessary, interventions in programming of control components and visualization systems

Complete study of the fields of control and control technology, automation technology or MSR or EMSR technology or comparable training in a technical training profession Experience in the PLC programming of the Siemens Desigo and SICLIMAT-X system Manual skill and team spirit, paired with a high degree of reliability Willingness to participate in the call Good knowledge of English Class B driving licence is advantageous
