We are looking for an early entry Senior Strategic Purchaser (w/m/d).

Responsibility for global strategic processing of procurement tasks in Commodity Metal and Steel Forming Completely responsible from the product idea with prototypes, serial assignments and serial support to the outlet control and spare parts protection Reliable implementation by negotiation of costs, contracts and logistics and quality agreements Analytical thinking in creating global material field and sourcing strategies to ensure a long-term competitive supply chain Networked communication in the global procurement environment of your global suppliers Ensure liability by ensuring the highest possible security of supply in quantitative and qualitative terms

Other tasks Execution of enquiries and implementation of comparative analyses up to the agreed award recommendation Optimization, evaluation and further development of a competitive and efficient strategic supplier portfolio Participation in international supplier audits and supplier qualifications Monitoring and analysis of procurement markets and their price developments Development of cost-cutting potentials Creation of regular reports and statistics Participation / acquisition of special projects in cooperation with other departments Escalation medium to suppliers in the procurement of production material for delivery difficulties

Education: Complete technical, economic or technical and business studies or comparable training with corresponding further qualification and relevant multiannual professional experience in the field of purchasing and procurement Personality: Safe intercultural appearance, communication-ready, compelling, result-oriented, enforceable as well as team- and conflict-proof Working: Structured, committed, independent and customer-oriented in the international environment Experiences and know-how: Multiannual experience in technical and strategic purchasing and sound technical understanding of complex requirements. Leadership experience of advantage Qualification: Good IT skills in MS Office and SAP R3 MM Languages: Very good English skills in word and writing
