The old and nursing centres were established in 1996 as a private enterprise and converted into a community service in 2005. The company was created from the traditional facilities of the Alteszentrum Rodenbach and Kreisruheheim Gelnhausen – with at that time 247 nursing places as well as about 250 employees and developed to date (as at 1.8.2024) with 988 nursing places, 77 apartments and apartments for service and catering and more than 1,100 employees as the largest municipal provider of stationary old care.
