As an auditor*in, you will review greenhouse gas inventory of plants and companies covered by EU ETS, nEHS and ETS 2, as well as the CO2 content of imported products (CBAM mechanism) and quantities of partially halogenated fluorocarbons (according to F-gas regulation). As a verifier, you will also check eco balance sheets (LCAs), Product Carbon Footprints (PCFs) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). If necessary, perform reviews of green hydrogen and Renewable Fuels of Non Biological Origin (RFNBOs) and assess related classifications. If necessary, check individual climate protection projects for the reduction of greenhouse gases. You work mainly in an area regulated by laws, standards and quality standards, and summarize the results of the work in German or English. You are responsible for the complete implementation of projects, including offering creation, communication with customers and project budget controlling.

Complete Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Energy Technology, Environmental Technology or similar discipline First experiences with energy, mass flow and/or greenhouse gas balances Knowledge of European and national environmental and climate protection legislation desirable, in particular EU emissions trading and Renewable Energy Directive (RED) Ability to think in balance sheets as well as analytical and conceptual thinking as well as independent and efficient work Team skills and professional, friendly communication with customers, Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Class B driving licence and readiness to travel in Germany and abroad
