Number: MER0003P1S Do you study law or economic law and would like to participate in a successful team and bring your strengths? The Purchasing and Strategy department of Mercedes-Benz AG is responsible for the worldwide supplier purchase for production materials. We, the contract management team, are also located here and advise the specialist purchase on legal issues and take an advisory role here. Together with operational purchasing, the purchase contracts for production materials are negotiated with suppliers, always taking into account commercial interests. The aim is to secure the contractual basis between the suppliers and the Mercedes-Benz AG via series delivery to the spare parts supply. In addition, we support various projects and task forces. The exchange and close cooperation with various experts from the Group's Legal Division (patent, cartel, compliance, etc.) form the interface for operational purchasing.
