The Niedersächsische Landesbehörde für Strassenbau und Verkehr is responsible, among other things, for the construction and maintenance of federal and regional roads in Lower Saxony and for the circular roads of different counties. It employs around 2,900 employees. The various tasks are carried out on the one hand in four central business units and on the other in 13 regional business units (including road construction offices). Head of Section 4 ‘Operation and transport’, consisting of sub-areas 41 ‘Operation’, including NGVFG and 42 ‘Transport management’. This includes, inter alia, support for the management of the business unit, Personnel management, management of personnel discussions, instruction of the staff of the Office in the course of training and service meetings, testing and evaluation of the reports (KLR) for the department's cost center Oversight of the street masters

implementing the monitoring activities according to § 4 FStrG and § 10 NStrG including quality assurance, Title manager i. S. der LHO/BHO, coordination of audits in the RGB (internal service), civil contacts in all matters of road maintenance, repair and traffic management, principles of transport management and telematics; Principles in the field of UI programmes and in the field of operational services; coordinating, harmonizing and final processing of master's annual work plan; Principles of occupational safety and the Hazardous Substance Regulation and the Green Care. Your technical qualification: Officials (w/m/d) must be entitled to 2. Entrance office of the category 2 of the technical services, subject area of road or urban construction. Employees (w/m/d) must have a scientific degree (Master/Uni. Diploma) of the Department of Civil Engineering, Transport Engineering or Similar. Applications of persons with relevant Bachelor may be taken into account in the procedure for missing suitable applicants with Master's degree; in these cases, a long-term practical experience (min. 3 years) is required for the grouping into the 13 TV-L pay group. Experience in the management of staff is advantageous. Safe handling of MS Office programs is required. In-depth knowledge of building contract and contract law (VOB, VOL, VOF) are required. Knowledge of accident prevention regulations and the hazardous substance regulation are advantageous. In addition, thorough knowledge of road law is expected. Experience in the tasks is advantageous.
