(Senior) Legal Counsel (m/f/d)

You are a full lawyer with relevant professional experience and passion for the digital world? We are looking for an independent personality with humour and humanity, which strengthens our corporate law department. As a contact person for IT and business law as well as data protection, you report directly to the General Counsel and actively shape the legal future of our group of companies. As a business partner for the senior management and the departments of the Group companies, you are acquainted with a risk-based approach. Your tasks are diverse and close to the operating business: IT Contract Law & Negotiation: You independently examine, design and negotiate national and international treaties (German/English). The focus is on IT infrastructure, cloud services (SaaS, PaaS), license agreements and public tenders. Data protection & risk management: You ensure compliance with the GDPR, raise awareness of appropriate risks in the company and actively participate in risk management. Strategic advice: You advise on complex issues of digitalization and give pragmatic recommendations for action. Legal Monitoring: You follow up current legislative changes and case law (in particular in the tech environment) and derive necessary measures for the Group. Process optimization: You support the implementation of new policies and processes to make our legal operations more efficient.

Education: You are a full lawyer with above-average examina. Experience: You have several years of professional experience in an economic law firm or an international legal department, ideally focusing on IT law, contract law or IP. Expertise: You have a deep understanding of technical and business relationships. Experience in the regulation of financial institutions (bank law/BaFin) is a plus. Mindset: You have a high affinity for digitalization topics, learn quickly and work in new fields such as AI administration. Working: You give understandable, pragmatic advice. You are powerful, reliable and work in a solution-oriented manner. Languages: You negotiate contract-proof in German and English.
