Radiation Protection Engineer - Database Applications & Release Processes (m/f/d)

You take over the technical support and further development of database applications and workflow management systems in the area of approval according to the Radiation Protection Regulation (StrlSchV): Function as a central contact for specialized database applications and workflow management systems for the documentation of building releases to StrlSchV Further development and optimization of the software applications used in the release area Coordination with software developers, performance testing and description and documentation of change requirements Maintenance and quality assurance of the data stock and documentation of release processes Implementation of user training Creation of graphical representations, photo documentation, diagrams and tables as professional work Support in the audit of planning and approval documents Implementation and compliance of the operational rules Creation of specifications and obligations for the new and further development of software applications in the release area Leading support and tracking of development and programming processes

Completed study in the scientific and technical field (University, FH or DHBW) – alternatively another study with at least two years of relevant professional experience in the field of work Experience in handling SQL database systems, in particular for the documentation and modeling of buildings in electronic applications – alternatively multiannual experience in the requirement definition for EDV applications Knowledge of the creation and execution of SQL database queries Knowledge of software development, preferably JavaScript and HTML Process-oriented thinking with focus on digitization and automation of workflows Knowledge of the requirements and procedures for the release of radioactive substances in accordance with Section 2 of Chapter 3 Experience in the application of relevant standards in radiation protection and release procedures Safe handling of MS Office standard applications Knowledge of VBA programming High IT affinity and solid IT basic knowledge Remarkable: Experience with SQL Developer and SQL Server Management Studio
