This is expected As a Team Lead Application & Technology, you take over the professional and disciplinary leadership of a team that provides and operates central core banking systems and business-critical applications of the KfW in Berlin. You design and control the stable, secure and efficient IT operation – from incident and problem management to monitoring and order processing – and ensure the continuous optimization of the processes and interfaces to other IT units. Together with your team, you will accompany new IT solutions across the entire lifecycle and accompany your employees in the transformation into the DevSecOps cooperation model. In the context of IT strategy and architecture requirements, you make release and control decisions, develop processes and tools and, if necessary, also manage the selection and operational control of external service providers. Through predictive planning of resources and budgets as well as effective control processes, you contribute to minimising operational and regulatory risks and developing the IT landscape of the KfW in a sustainable manner.

This will bring you A completed university degree (Diplom or Master) in the field of IT and telecommunications, banking or comparable qualifications, as well as many years of professional experience in the IT field. Comprehensive knowledge in ITIL application operation, in application development (e.g. host and server environments, container-based software) as well as banking knowledge about core banking systems. Tested leadership experience in larger teams and project management competence, ideally in complex IT organizations with high regulatory responsibility. Secure handling of MS Office, MS Project, relevant SAP modules and basic knowledge in SharePoint; good knowledge of English. Very pronounced analytical and organizational capacity, high decision-making and conflict management competence as well as strong strategic and networked thinking and conceptual strength.
