Specialist Architect Data Model Insurance (m/f/d)

In controlling the Württembergische Versicherung we are responsible for the company-wide business planning as well as the insurance-technical conclusion. We create ongoing reporting to the overall board, take risks into consideration and give recommendations on this basis. The basis for this is complete, consistent and uniform data management. To ensure and develop this, we are looking for reinforcement. Working with a fast, performant and future-oriented data architecture for the dispositive processes of a damage/unfall insurance Working with the definition of standards, name conventions and guidelines for modelling and documentation of the data model of the Data Warehouse as a basis for developers and users Technical data modelling of a data warehouse Use of modelling methods and notations (e.g. entity relationship model) and work with modeling tools (e.g. ERwin or Microsoft Visio) Support in ensuring data quality and data consistency with analysis tools (e.g. with SQL) as well as developing and defining possible key figures for insurance Maintenance of a data catalog and development of mapping specifications for necessary data integrations and transformations Promoting a data-driven corporate culture, including through know-how transfer to the departments, with the aim of realising improvements in controlling and regulatory processes

Studies of (economic) computer science, mathematics or a comparable qualification Multiannual experience in data management and data modeling, ideally in the insurance environment Knowledge of common data modeling methods and implementation in appropriate tools Theoretical and Practical Experience in Data Governance Questions Independent, structured working and team orientation Communication strength, analytical thinking and joy in cooperation at the interface between specialist and IT
