Software Engineer Minehunting and Abovewater (m/f/d)

Development and maintenance of high-performant, robust C++ components for marine systems in Mine Counter Measures Design and architecture of new software modules taking into account real-time and security requirements (e.g. DO-178C, IEC 61508) Conducting code reviews and ensuring quality standards (Static Analysis, Unit Testing, CI/CD) Error analysis and debugging in complex, distributed systems, including real-time debuggers and log analysis as well as documentation of design decisions, interfaces and test procedures Cooperation with hardware engineer:inside, system architect:inside and project management

Completed university degree in the STEM field with multi-year professional experience or completed vocational training as a specialist:in with long-term professional experience or comparable qualifications Multiannual professional experience, basic understanding of safety standards (DO-178C, IEC 61508) and secure coding guidelines (MISRA-C++) as well as knowledge in Python Deep experience with C++ 11/14/17, experience with unit testing and corresponding frameworks (e.g. GoogleTest) as well as experience with object-oriented and component-based architecture and design-patterns Self-employed, analytical working methods and a strong ability to solve problems and the ability to document and present complex technical content in a comprehensible manner Impressed team and communication skills with interdisciplinary partners as well as high levels of reliability and quality awareness, especially in safety-critical systems
