Mechatronics Technician / Electronics Technician - Logistics Center in the Food Industry (m/f/d)

We are a globally active group of companies in the food industry with around 5,000 employees working at the headquarters in Bergisch Gladbach as well as in subsidiaries at various production sites in Germany and abroad. In our plant in Bergisch Gladbach near Cologne, we produce with over 1,400 employees Instanttee, Cappuccino, coffee preparations, cocoa-containing beverage powder, vitamin tablets, sweeteners and medicines.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a mechatronic or electronic engineer (m/w/d) for our new high-bay warehouse.

You are responsible for the maintenance and maintenance of fully automatic systems in our logistics center. The troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and troubleshooting on automatic rack operating devices, conveyor technology and electric suspension track are also your activities. You create current schedules and adjust them if necessary. You support projects from start to finish and actively participate in them. With the help of your technical knowledge you plan plant optimizations, implement them and document them. You support the implementation of occupational and accident protection. You monitor and obtain spare parts for the high-bay warehouse. You supervise and coordinate foreign companies and carry out work. The maintenance and dissolution of the building control technology in the logistics center is also in your area of responsibility.

You have a successfully completed training on mechatronics (m/w/d), electronics (m/w/d) or a comparable qualification. You have knowledge and experience in drive, control and automation technology as well as in mechanics. You have already gained experience in the area of fault diagnosis and troubleshooting in automated control processes. Ideally, you bring SPS experience. You have basic IT skills (MS Office). Team skills as well as an independent, careful, structured and independent way of working. You are ready to work in shiftwork and on occasion to work on weekends.
