Civil engineer specializing in port and infrastructure with a view to becoming deputy head of department (m/f/d)

Own-responsible planning, tendering and construction management of demanding projects in civil, water and civil engineering Control and monitoring of complex construction projects in the role of contractor representation – from procurement to successful acceptance holistic project controlling including budget planning, cost calculation as well as commission and contract management Management and coordination of project teams and implementation of construction meetings with all project participants Responsibility for publicly funded construction projects including Authorisation procedures and communication with authorities Strategic purchasing of construction services and technical services including negotiation and audit Perspective takeover of leadership responsibility as Deputy Head of the Technical Department

Completed studies in civil engineering (Diplom/Master), ideally focusing on deep, traffic or water engineering Multiannual professional experience (5+ years) in civil engineering and knowledge in civil engineering Experience in construction engineering and water engineering (required) Funded experience in building management, tendering and awarding according to VOB/HOAI or comparable regulations Know-how in project management, cost management and ideally in handling funding projects First experience in disciplinary personnel management and experience in managing project teams Structured, solution-oriented mode of operation combined with entrepreneurial thinking and decision-making Open-minded, dynamic personality with positive radiance and joy in responsibility Communication strength, safe occurrence as well as pleasure in team work and presence at the construction site
