IT System Engineer Modern Work / M365 (w/m/d) | Permanent employment | Full time

You design, develop and operate modern M365 environments – focusing on Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Modern Workplace architectures. You introduce Microsoft Copilot across the company, answer technical readiness, authorization models, data classification and accompany the user's enablement. You rely on Modern Endpoint Management with Intune (Windows, macOS, Mobile), including automation, baselines and zero-trust principles. You guide workshops and advise on architecture, migration and modern workplace strategies – including the creation of technical roadmaps. You implement and operate security solutions around Microsoft Defender XDR, Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps and Office 365. You develop governance and compliance concepts and configure Microsoft Purview (Information Protection, DLP, Insider Risk, eDiscovery). You automate and standardize operations using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API. You work closely with Microsoft and internal teams from infrastructure, security and compliance.

Multiannual professional experience in the administration and architecture of Microsoft 365 and Modern Work. Very good knowledge of Entra ID, Conditional Access, Exchange Online, Identity Protection and Zero Trust concepts. Practical experience in endpoint management with Intune. Know-how in Microsoft Defender XDR and Security-Best-Practices. Ideally knowledge of Purview Information Protection, DLP, Sensitivity Labels and Compliance topics. First experience or strong interest in Microsoft copilot and AI-based productivity scenarios. Basic knowledge of automation. Very good knowledge of German and good English for international cooperation.
