The ''Mercedes-Benz Production System (MPS)'' division is the leading supplier of know-how for Lean Management in Mercedes-Benz AG. As a company-internal Lean consultancy, we are responsible for the worldwide implementation of the MPS/Lean philosophy from production and planning areas to administration and accompany the development of the MPS. Our MPS experts are partners of top management in the rebuilding of international works as well as in the optimization of established works. Our tasks include the training of executives on Lean Management processes, the implementation of pilot projects and the holistic support of change processes. In addition, all communication activities in a variety of forms, including the organisation of Lean Management conferences, are part of our portfolio. In the form of consulting projects, vulnerabilities are analysed in the different areas of expertise, fields of action are derived and measures are implemented. Your tasks include: We offer you the opportunity to get involved in interesting and challenging topics within interdisciplinary project teams during the internship. Due to the wide range of tasks (assembly, manufacturing, logistics, planning, ...), there are a variety of possible projects that you can work with in close cooperation with our Lean experts. Learning and applying Lean methods, such as value flow methodology with evaluation in MPS and Total Cost aspects Consulting internal customers in terms of lean production and management processes Development of alternative processes including Evaluation of the optimization potentials Editing implementation concepts for new methods in production and supply chain Takeover of own topics, such as planning, implementation and documentation of subprojects and tasks within the project Preparation of decision templates for management The activity can begin from April 2026 for a period of 6 months.

Course in Engineering, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Economic Psychology, Adult Education, Psychology, Social Sciences or Comparable Knowledge of project management is desirable Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Designed analytical, methodological and conceptual skills Communication skills and joy to work in the team A dedicated and responsible way of working and MS Office skills complete your profile.
