Technician/Engineer as Designer Electrical Engineering in Shipbuilding (m/f/d)

You support the electrotechnical equipment in the production-oriented design, planning and integration of electrical assemblies and systems and thus contribute significantly to the successful implementation of demanding shipbuilding projects. You create technical enquiries and order specifications for electrical systems and assemblies and provide a smooth project sequence through close coordination with specialist departments and external partners. Through technical negotiations with suppliers and the joint evaluation of offers with purchasing, make sure that quality, functionality and cost-effectiveness are optimally linked. You coordinate the implementation and integration of electrotechnical systems in accordance with the project requirements and create the basis for a successful project progress through coordination with project partners, coordinators and system managers. The responsibility for acceptance, handover and commissioning by subcontractors or directly on board is also part of your task. By creating test specifications and test protocols, you make an important contribution to the quality and operational safety of the systems.

You have completed a completed engineering degree in the fields of electrical engineering, system engineering, communications technology, information technology, shipbuilding and marine engineering, maritime technology or industrial engineering, or have a further training as a technician in the fields of electrical engineering, automation technology or shipbuilding technology. With 2–3 years of professional experience in the electrical equipment of ships, you have a good understanding of maritime systems, interfaces and project processes. Ideally, you bring user knowledge into ERP systems such as SAP as well as in the Siemens NX, AutoCAD or Cadmatic CAD systems used in shipbuilding. Your structured work will help you to safely implement technical requirements and advance projects in a targeted manner.
