As Technical Director / Head of Technical Wood Coatings (m/w/d) you take over a central leadership and design role within the technical organization. You are responsible for the further development of existing and new coating systems, driving technical innovations and ensuring that customer requirements, market trends and regulatory developments are translated into competitive product solutions.

Your duties You assume the strategic and operational responsibility for the technical field. These include in particular: Management, control and further development of technical teams in laboratory, application technology, application development and quality assurance Strategic development of the technical product portfolio in the field of wood coatings, flooring, laminate and industrial surface solutions Control and prioritization of development, optimization and customer projects Development and optimization of demanding coating systems in the field of UV, UV-water, PU, acrylate, water and low-VOC technologies Translation of market, customer, application and regulatory requirements into concrete, economically successful product solutions Technical support for sales in customer projects, presentations, technical concepts and new customer production Advice from customers on paint structures, application technologies, plant optimization, surface requirements and complaints Close cooperation with machine manufacturers, plant manufacturers, industrial partners and international R&D units Ensuring product quality, production capability, technical standards and regulatory requirements Development of technical processes, documentation, training and internal standards Representation of the company at customer meetings, specialist events, trade fairs and technical market initiatives

You have a degree in chemistry, varnish technology, wood technology, surface technology or a comparable qualification.
